RUN MEDIA CITY 5K & 10K – THURSDAY 23RD AUGUST 2018
Address: Media City, Salford, M50 2EQ (See map below)
Start Times – 7:00pm
All pre-entries will be assigned a number. To collect them you need to make your way down to the numbers desk between 5:30pm – 6:45pm. It will take around 15 minutes to collect your number and drop your bag off. The earlier you get there, the more efficient we will be on the day. You will only need one number attached to the front of your shirt. If you have your own pins then that would be great but we will have supplies if needed. Your timing chip will also be in the envelope, this needs to be attached to your shoe as per the instructions on the back of the chip. Please make sure you keep your number on at all times during the race. At the finish you can dispose of your chip (we do not need to collect them back).
You will find instructions on the back of your chip for how to attach it to your shoe correctly (as below):
We will have a secure area where you can leave your baggage. We recommend you bring as little baggage as possible. Your baggage tag is attached to your race number, you simply tear it off and attach to your bag. To collect, show your number to the baggage tent staff and they will help you find your baggage.
Pre-Race Preparation with Pulseroll
Pulseroll have three vibrating foam rollers, to take your foam rolling to the next level. Pulseroll can help you prepare for the race by releasing the fascia, allowing you to stretch and warm up the muscles before your race.
Check out these foam rolling exercises you can do before and after the race to warm up and cool down, so you can go again tomorrow.
